Terms of service
This website is operated by VLTPOD. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to VLTPOD.
These Terms of Service govern your use of our website and your purchase of products and services from us. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms together with any policies referenced within them, including our Privacy Policy and Refund Policy.
Nothing in these Terms affects any statutory rights that you may have as a consumer.

2. ELIGIBILITY & CUSTOMER INFORMATION
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to place an order with us.
You agree to provide accurate, complete and current billing, contact and delivery information when placing an order.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information supplied to us is correct and for notifying us promptly if any details change.
Our products may be purchased by both consumers and business customers. Certain statutory rights described in these Terms apply specifically to consumers.
3. OUR PRODUCTS
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, dimensions, images and other information displayed on our website are accurate.
Because of differences between screens, photography and production processes, colours and finishes may vary slightly from their appearance online.
Product dimensions and technical specifications may also be subject to reasonable manufacturing tolerances where stated on the relevant product page.
Any material differences will not affect your statutory rights, including your right to receive goods that are as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for their intended purpose where those rights apply.
We reserve the right to improve, modify or discontinue products from time to time. Changes will not retrospectively alter a confirmed order without your agreement where doing so would materially change the product you have purchased.
4. VEHICLE COMPATIBILITY & PRODUCT SUITABILITY
Where vehicle compatibility, maximum dimensions or suggested applications are provided, customers should check the dimensions and specifications of their vehicle, equipment or intended installation area before ordering.
Vehicle examples shown on our website are intended to assist customers in assessing suitability and do not replace checking the stated internal dimensions of the relevant VLTPOD model.
If you are unsure whether a particular product is suitable for your vehicle or intended application, please contact us before ordering.
Where you inform us of a specific purpose for which you require a product and rely on our advice, your statutory rights concerning fitness for purpose remain unaffected.
5. ORDERS
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase products from VLTPOD.
After placing an order, you will receive an order acknowledgement or confirmation by email. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where there is a legitimate reason to do so, including:
- incorrect pricing or product information
- suspected fraudulent activity
- product unavailability
- inability to deliver to the requested location
- an obvious error in the order or website listing
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, we will refund the relevant amount.
Nothing in this section limits any statutory cancellation rights available to consumers buying online. UK distance-selling rules generally provide consumers with a 14-day cancellation period for eligible goods.
Returns and cancellations are also subject to our Refund Policy.
6. CUSTOM & PERSONALISED ORDERS
Some VLTPOD products may be available with customer-specific branding, dimensions, finishes or other bespoke modifications.
Where a product is genuinely made to your individual specifications or clearly personalised, statutory change-of-mind cancellation rights may not apply.
Selecting options from a standard range does not automatically make a product bespoke. Government guidance distinguishes genuinely personalised products from products assembled using standard options.
Where an order will be treated as bespoke or personalised, we will make this clear before purchase where applicable.
Your rights in relation to faulty, damaged or incorrectly supplied products are not affected.
7. PRICES & PAYMENT
Prices displayed on our website will be shown inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law.
Delivery charges and any additional costs will be displayed or otherwise communicated before an order is completed where applicable. UK online-selling rules require consumers to be given the total price and delivery costs, or how those amounts will be calculated, before ordering.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.
If an obvious pricing error occurs, we may contact you to provide the correct price or cancel the affected order and issue a refund.
Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.
8. DELIVERY
Available delivery methods, charges and estimated delivery times will be displayed on the website, at checkout or otherwise communicated before your order is confirmed.
Delivery dates and timeframes are estimates unless we expressly agree to a specific delivery date.
If no particular delivery period has been agreed with a UK consumer, statutory rules generally require goods to be delivered without undue delay and within 30 days after the contract is entered into.
Some VLTPOD products may require specialist or oversized freight delivery. It is the customer's responsibility to provide accurate delivery information and to make reasonable arrangements for access where this has been communicated as a delivery requirement.
We will not be responsible for delays resulting from circumstances outside our reasonable control, although this does not remove any statutory rights you may have regarding delayed delivery.
Risk During Delivery
For consumer orders where we arrange the carrier, the product remains at our risk until it comes into the physical possession of you or a person identified by you to receive it.
If you independently appoint a carrier that we did not offer, risk may pass when the goods are delivered to that carrier.
Separate provisions may apply to business-to-business transactions where expressly agreed.
9. INSPECTION ON DELIVERY
Please inspect your order as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
If a product arrives visibly damaged, incomplete or incorrect, please contact us promptly at info@vltpod.com and provide photographs or other reasonable evidence where possible.
Failure to report visible damage immediately does not remove statutory consumer rights.
Further information is contained in our Refund Policy.
10. RETURNS, CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Returns, cancellations and refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, together with any applicable statutory rights.
Nothing in these Terms or our Refund Policy is intended to exclude or restrict consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
11. WARRANTIES & STATUTORY RIGHTS
Any product warranty offered by VLTPOD will be described on the relevant product page or accompanying documentation.
A manufacturer's or commercial warranty operates in addition to, and does not replace, statutory consumer rights.
For UK consumers, goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose where applicable.
12. PRODUCT USE & SAFETY
Products must be installed, inflated, secured, maintained and used in accordance with the instructions, operating guidance and safety information supplied with them.
Customers are responsible for selecting an appropriate location and following applicable installation, anchoring, weather and maintenance instructions.
Products should not be used in circumstances that exceed any stated operational limits.
Nothing in this section excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, the VLTPOD name, branding, logos, website design, product imagery, videos, graphics, written content, product names and other intellectual property displayed through our website are owned by or licensed to VLTPOD.
You may use the website for personal or legitimate business purchasing purposes.
You must not reproduce, distribute, commercially exploit, modify or republish our intellectual property without prior written permission, except where permitted by law.
Shopify and other third-party names, logos and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.
14. THIRD-PARTY TOOLS & LINKS
Our website may provide access to third-party services, tools, payment providers or external websites.
Those services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies operated by their respective providers.
We are not responsible for the content or operation of third-party websites outside our control.
Nothing in this section limits any responsibility that we cannot legally exclude.
15. RELATIONSHIP WITH SHOPIFY
VLTPOD is powered by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce infrastructure used to operate our online store.
Purchases made through our store are made directly between you and VLTPOD. Shopify is not the seller of VLTPOD products.
This keeps the substance of the Shopify section while removing unnecessary US-style liability language from the consumer-facing policy. The original Shopify wording appears at section 9 of your generated terms.
16. PRIVACY
Personal information collected through our website is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Because our store is hosted through Shopify, certain information may also be processed by Shopify and other service providers involved in operating the website, processing payments and fulfilling orders.
Please review our Privacy Policy for further information.
17. REVIEWS, FEEDBACK & CUSTOMER CONTENT
If you voluntarily submit reviews, photographs, comments or other content to VLTPOD, you confirm that you have the right to provide that material.
You grant us permission to use, reproduce and display submitted content for reasonable business, promotional and website purposes unless otherwise agreed.
You must not submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, misleading or infringes another person's intellectual property or privacy rights.
18. WEBSITE ERRORS
We make reasonable efforts to ensure information on our website is accurate.
Occasionally, information may contain typographical errors or inaccuracies relating to matters such as specifications, pricing, availability, delivery information or product descriptions.
We may correct errors when discovered.
If an error materially affects an order you have already placed, we will contact you and explain your available options.
19. PROHIBITED USE
You must not use our website:
- for unlawful or fraudulent purposes
- to infringe our rights or those of another person
- to transmit malware or malicious code
- to interfere with the operation or security of the website
- to collect personal information unlawfully
- to impersonate another person
- to conduct unauthorised scraping or automated activity that disrupts the website
We may restrict or terminate access where we reasonably believe these Terms have been breached.
20. LIABILITY
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
In particular, nothing excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability or statutory consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or restricted. UK consumer terms cannot be used to avoid responsibility for matters including death or injury, faulty goods or goods that are not as described.
If you are purchasing as a consumer, these Terms do not affect your statutory rights.
For business customers, additional limitations of liability may apply where separately agreed in writing and permitted by law.
21. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL
We will not be responsible for delays or failure to perform our obligations where caused by circumstances genuinely outside our reasonable control.
Where such an event affects your order, we will take reasonable steps to minimise the impact and contact you where appropriate.
Any statutory rights relating to cancellation, refunds or delayed performance remain unaffected.
22. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found by a court or competent authority to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision will be treated as removed or modified only to the extent necessary.
The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
23. WAIVER
If we do not immediately enforce a right under these Terms, this does not mean that we have waived that right.
24. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to our business, products, website or applicable requirements.
The version applying to an order will generally be the version in effect when that order was placed.
Material changes will not retrospectively reduce rights under an existing contract.
25. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and any contract between you and VLTPOD will be governed by the laws of [INSERT: England and Wales / Scotland / Northern Ireland].
If you are a consumer, nothing in this section deprives you of any mandatory protections available to you under applicable consumer law.
